Fedaj, Richard John passed away August 9, 2010 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 59 years.
Richard is survived by two daughters Jacqueline (Kelly) Bloxom, Brandy Fedaj, two grandchildren Gabriel and Katie, his mother Helena, two brothers Ed and Ted.
Richard is predeceased by his father Theodore in 1977.

CAMPBELL, Stuart Francis 1918 – 2009
Campbell, Stuart F passed away December 16, 2009 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 91 years.
Stuart was born November 5, 1918 at Calgary, Alberta to William and Margaret Campbell. Stuart was raised on a farm in the Berrywater District and received all his schooling in Vulcan. He was involved in farming with his father and then entered the RCAF in 1942 as an Aero-Engine Mechanic Stuart was discharged in 1945. He married his High School sweetheart Nora Elizabeth Collier on November 21, 1941.
Stuart was active in the community as a past president of the Vulcan Lions
ESKO, Erik August – 1929-2010
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erik Esko on March 16, 2010 at the age of 80 years.
Erik was born July 16, 1929 at Overtornea, Sweden where he served in the Army. He came to Canada and worked as a professional painter for many years until retiring in 1994. Erik was well known as the guy with paint on his shoes who never left anything unpainted.
Eric married Gladys Newbury and they spent many good times skiing at Banff, Lake Louise and Mount Norquay. They also enjoyed spending weekends together in
CUTFORTH (NEE VAAGE), Ada May – 1919-2010
Cutforth, Ada May passed away June 18, 2010 at Vulcan at the age of 91 years.
Ada was born on April 3, 1919 at Carmangay, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Akitt. She was one of eight children. Ada grew up east of Carmangay where she developed her love of the outdoors and sports. She married Alfred Vaage in 1939 and raised seven children east of Champion on Snake Valley Farm. Alfred passed away in 1978. Ada married Art Cutforth in 1984 and lived on the farm near Vulcan until Art’s passing. Ada moved into Vulcan
PATERSON, George Henry – 1931-2010
Paterson, George Henery passed away August 9, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 79 years.
Memorial mass Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church (330 – 1 Street South) at Vulcan with Reverend Father Philip Van Tinh Le officiating.
George leaves behind a daughter Mary Lou (Delbert) Fischl of Vulcan, AB, two sons Ken (Colleen) Paterson of Canal Flats, BC, Stephen Paterson of Calgary, AB, two stepsons Allan (Rita) Jobe of Cranbrook, BC, Dennis (Sharon) Jobe of Lethbridge, AB.
George was predeceased by his wife Angella Paterson in October, 1995.

Engen, Marion Mary passed away December 22, 2009 at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 89 years.
Loving mother of two sons Robert (Anna) and Charles (Virginia), two grandchildren Kristy and Robert, a sister Gwen Coskey numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Leonard, Marion was predeceased by her parents, four brothers and a sister.
Inurnment at Vulcan Cemetery at a later date.

The family of Greg Brown sadly announces his passing on March 23, 2010 at the age of 58 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Annie, by his daughter Penny (David) and his grandchildren Zane and Kira. Greg is also survived by his mother Jessie Brown, his sister Janice (Doug) Hall, his brother Brian (Julie) Brown, his nieces and nephew Wendy, Carolyn and Geoff and their families. Bill passed away peacefully on June 21, 2010 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre in the presence of his loving wife Lynn. Bill spent his youth in Ogden playing baseball and hockey. He attended Michigan Tech on a hockey scholarship where he acquired his geology degree. While attending Michigan Tech, he played goal for a Chicago Blackhawks farm team. Lahd, Claire Levona passed away August 11, 2010 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 91 years.
Clair was born February 6, 1919 at Calgary and was raised in the Gleichen/Arrowwood area. She married Orden Lahd of Queenstown in 1940 and they settled on a farm in the Queenstown area after the war. They raised five children. Dancing, music, quilting and knitting were her hobbies and she was a member of the WI for many years. In her later years, Claire became quite a good artist working in oils and ceramics.
