CRAINE, Allan Herbert
1954-2009
Craine, Allan Herbert passed away September 21, 2009 at Foothills Hospital at Calgary at the age of 55 years.
Allan was born January 5, 1954 at Vulcan, Alberta to Herb and Dorothy Craine Allan enjoyed sports and played soccer and volleyball. He competed in 10 pin bowling in the Special Olympics for many years Allan loved hockey and was an avid fan of the Calgary Flames. He liked listening to music and enjoyed dancing. One of Allan’s favorite treats was Tim Hortons coffee. He was a very social person and liked to visit especially with family and friends.
Allan is survived by his mother Dorothy, two sisters Esther (Joe) Deep and her daughter Sharlene (Andres) Matheson and their children Alexander and Sarah, Amelia (Bob) Peterson and their children Carl and Dana.
Allan was predeceased by his father Herb in 1974.
Funeral service Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 7 pm at Holy Martyr Peter The Aleut Church, 1939 – 33 Avenue SW, Calgary with Fr. Larry Reinheimer officiating.
Interment Vulcan Cemetery Friday, September 25, 2009 at 11 am.
