Nelson, David George passed away peacefully on November 9, 2009 at his home in Queenstown at the age of 66 years.
David was born February 26, 1944 in Bassano, Alberta to Palmer and Alma Nelson. He was raised on the farm near Queenstown and received his schooling in Queenstown and Milo. David attended Calgary Technical Institute where he took a course in Agricultural Mechanics. Upon completion, he returned home to farm with his Dad and older brother Ken. David and Ken has a great partnership with their mixed farming operation of cattle and grain.

Ruppert, Peter Stephen passed away at Vulcan, Alberta February 12, 2010 at the age of 89 years.
Pete was born March 10, 1920 at Graystones, Alberta to Frank and Margaret Ruppert. He met Anna Chase and they were married on November 1, 1942. Pete proudly served his country with the 65th Tank Transport Division in World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945. He worked in Special Areas and was assigned to work in Lomond in 1949. Kraus, Kurt passed away May 12, 2010 at Gleichen, Alberta at the age of 46 years.

Ed passed away peacefully Wednesday November 18, 2009 at the age of 86 years.
Ed was born September 16, 1923 in Birdsholm, AB to Henry and Leah Ully. The family moved to Picture Butte, AB when he was a boy, where he attended Bar Hill school. He married Ina Marttinnen November 1943 and together they farmed and raised their seven children at Bar Hill and Vulcan. In 1951 they moved to Vulcan where they continued farming and raising bulls. Schierman, John was called home to his Lord and Savior November 6, 2009 at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 93 years.
John was born February 20, 1916 at Calgary, Alberta to John Sr and Mary Schierman. He attended Sandy Point School near Hilda, Alberta, Riverside Elementary in Calgary, Giffen School  near Queenstown, Langevin in Calgary  and SAIT.   He married Wilhelmina Rausch in Calgary in May 1942.  They farmed at Queenstown until 1947 when  they purchased the Charlie Hay farm  near Vulcan.
