Orlo ‘Ory’ Delroy Doane of Vulcan, beloved husband of Judy, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on April 25, 2024 at the age of 81 years.
Ory was born January 21, 1943, son of Orlo and Della Doane. He was raised and educated in Vulcan and farmed his entire life. He was a cowboy at heart and had the kindest of hearts, a smile and always willing to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it.
Ory was a devoted champion of the Wheat Country Special Needs Society and spent many years deeply involved with S.O.D.A.

Bob Bell, age 66, beloved husband of Linda Bell, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta. Born on May 9, 1957 in Calgary, Bob was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a self-employed businessman, starting at a very young age to help provide for his family and his obscene obsession with cars.

Pat was born October 17, 1941 at Lashburn, SK, to William and Christina “Bunny” McGladdery. She moved with her family to Southern Alberta in 1943 where the family settled in Pincher Creek. Pat started her education attending a one room school house and eventually attended elementary school in Pincher Creek. Mr. Barry Edward Lebsack, beloved partner to Yvonne Souther, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 28, 2023 at the age of 64 years old. Barry was born to Edward and Joan Lebsack on April 9, 1959 in Vulcan Alberta.
Barry will be lovingly remembered by the love of his life Yvonne; children Jolene (Chris), Dustin, Aisha (Jeff); grandchildren Emily, Tyson, Teagan, Easton, Emery, River and Rayne, brother Blaine (Grace), nieces and nephew, great nephews and numerous friends.

Thomas Wallace Will
March 13, 1933 – February 29, 2024
Thomas was born March 13, 1933, to Wilson Andrew (Pete) and Alice Will (Battersby) in Vulcan, Alberta. He passed peacefully in High River on February 29, 2024. Thomas grew up on the family farm near Milo and went to MacGregor school located near the farm and then to Milo school.
Thomas enjoyed tinkering with vehicles and machines. He apprenticed as a mechanic at Bertrand’s garage in Milo. He then moved to Grande Prairie near his siblings Winona and Wilson. He worked at various jobs in the area for several years. He returned to

Ron was born to Bill and Edith Barnes in Empress, Alberta, February 7th, 1948. He took his schooling in Bindloss and helped his father on the family farm. Bill’s poor health meant that Ron shouldered much of the responsibilities of the farm at a young age. Ron married Joyce Marshall of Acadia Valley in 1967 in Medicine Hat. They lived on the farm at Bindloss until April 1968, when they moved to what would become Ron’s homeplace, the farm just west of Kirkcaldy. They enjoyed their wonderful neighbors so much. Nora Eileen Simmons 1927 – 2024
Nora passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Heath Care Centre at the age of 96 years, with her family at her side.
Nora was born in Rimbey, Alberta to Lyle & Zerola Visger. She married the love of her life, Harvey Simmons, in 1950, and together they raised four girls.
Being active in her community, Nora was involved with the Ambulance Service, homecare, lifeline, Girl Guides and a founding member of the Vulcan Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. Throughout her life, Nora was a devoted member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
She enjoyed traveling with Harvey. They traveled to places
