Loreen, Lorne and families. I was sorry I wasn’t able to attend the memorial for your mom. She was someone who always had a smile and enjoyed life. Tom and I sang at a good number of funerals in the Lutheran church and your mom played for us each time. She was always so gracious and will be missed by all who crossed her path. My deepest sympathy to each of you.
Lorne, Connie and family; Loreen and family, please accept deepest condolences from Steve and myself. We hope the memories of Helene will provide you with peace and comfort during your time of sorrow. She was a lovely lady and will be missed.
Helene was my Grade Four school teacher. For many, many years she and Marvin were close neighbours. We attended Bethany Lutheran together and all served on the Church Council for decades! Helene was just the loveliest lady … beautiful inside and out! Kind and thoughtful, she had a wonderful sense of humour and she was a cherished member of our community! I will always remember her abilities on the organ and her beautiful voice … I could not count the number of local funerals she played for at the church! Helene and Marvin were such a great team … life-long Lomond residents even after they moved to the city for good! Both will always be remembered here! My sympathy goes out to Loreen and Lorne … and to all their family!
A wonderful woman.
That she was. In behalf of our family, thank you, Ron.
Our heartfelt condolences to all of you on the passing of Helene. She was truly a lovely, compassionate and gifted woman who will be missed by all that knew her. Helene and Marvin are together once again rejoicing in their love.
Thank you, we draw comfort in knowing they are once again hand-in-hand, and likely on the dance floor!
