It is with great sadness that the family of Tim Chambers of Lomond Alberta announces his passing.
Tim was born, raised and spent most of his life in Lomond, a place where he was very content. He was a devoted husband and a father full of pride for Madisyn. As a young man, sports (in particular hockey) played a huge role in his life and in later years he became an enthusiastic golfer and a passionate bow hunter, enjoying these sports with his brothers and closest friends. His avid interest in sports led him to be involved in Mad’s sports and those of his nieces and nephews. His tender heartedness towards his mom and dad was a testimony to the in-depth value he had for his family.
Deeply loved by his wife Sherry and daughter Madisyn, his parents Ross and Mary Chambers, sisters Helen Ann (Stan) Liebreich, Vicky (Mark) Koenig, Patti (Ted) Stokes, Deb (Ron) Magnuson, brother Mike (Roberta) Chambers and their families, mother and father in-law Bernice and Dan Stuckel, sister in-laws Lynn (Elwood) Hoffman, Faye (Seann) Tanner, Adele (Frank) Germann, Gail (Lloyd) Kleefeld, brother-in-law Larry Stuckel and their families.
Predeceased by his brother Leslie Chambers.
Memorial service Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 at 1:30 at the Lomond Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, tributes in Tim’s memory may be made to a trust fund for Madisyn Chambers c/o Chinook Credit Union, Box 242, Lomond T0L 1G0 or the charity of choice.
