MABEL BEAGLE
April 22, 1930 – August 23, 2003
With sadness in our hearts we announce the passing of our most loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. After eight years of health challenges, the last battle proved too hard to fight.
Survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Ron Beagle, three sons Ken (Linda), Doug (Brenda), Jason (Shannon), and her only daughter Lorea (Rodger) Grant. She was especially proud of her grandchildren, Michael (Karen), Graham, Jody (Les), Kristi, Sydney, Jocelyn, Bridget, Nicole (Peter), Charmaine and Reagan. She was blessed with four great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed immensely, Bradie, Kennedy, Riley and Jordan. Also survived by Ron’s family, mother-in-law Gladys Beagle; sisters-in-law, Marvina Phillips, Myrna (Marvin) Winch, Fran; and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many Samaroden/Androsoff nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Sam and Helen Samaroden, brothers, Peter and Mike, sister Edna.
She will be sorely missed by friends in Arrowwood. Mabel has left us all with a legacy of compassion and kindness but most of all, strength. Never once giving up or complaining of her struggles. She lives on for her grandchildren in the beautiful afghans and slippers that she made with love and care. Thank you, Mom, for showing us the way.
Funeral service Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Arrowwood Community Hall, Arrowwood with Rev. Don Holloway officiating.
