Wilhelm “Bill” Oscar Wogsberg, born on July 12, 1935, passed away August 18, 2012 at Taber, Alberta at the age of 77 years.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Lillian McMorris, on Aug. 18. 2012 after a tiring battle with cancer. She was 91 years old.
Mom was born in her parents’ home at Pine Lake, Alberta on March 24, 1921. She was the last of seven children, all of whom are now deceased.
Her youth was a hard working, but happy time and that, we are sure is where her unique sense of humor came from. She was able to hold onto her humor right up till the last which was wonderful for us.

Leadbeater, Lois of Shouldice, AB, passed away suddenly on August 5, 2012 at home at the age of 73 years.
Lois was born on Sept 18, 1938 on the family farm 2 ½ miles east of Arrowwood to Stewart and Ella (Robinson) Hayes. She attended school at Arrowwood grades 1 to 11 and grade 12 in Cluny Central where she graduated. She was involved in Guiding as a young girl and later a Guide leader in Lethbridge. Fred Gunther Geschwendt, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend crossed over into eternity and into the loving arms of Jesus on July 30, 2012 at Medicine Hat Hospital at the age of 84.
Born to Hugo & Elizabeth Geschwendt October 10, 1927 in Vulcan Alberta. Fred was the only son, but he had an older sister Betty Roebuck, and a younger sister Melita Therrien. Orchard, Doris Annie of Vulcan passed away peacefully July 22,2012 at High River Nursing Home at the age of 98 years.
Doris was born at home on the farm east of Vulcan March 9, 1914. Her father Elbert Church McFall passed away when Doris was a child, so she was raised by her mother Maud Isabella Paul until she remarried Mitchell Hawkins. They became a happy family of Doris, Jean, Blanche, Harry, Mildred and Francis. They continued to resided on the farm east of Vulcan.

POSEIN, Edward “Ed” Ivan 1941 – 2012
Ed Ivan Posein passed away July 17, 2012 at the Vulcan Community Health Center at the age of 71 years.
Ed was born Jan. 3, 1941 at Leduc, Alberta to William and Hilda Posein. He grew up on a mixed farm near Leduc. He moved to Edmonton and there met his beautiful and lovely wife, Marilyn McLeod. Ed worked various jobs in Edmonton and Leduc before moving to Queenstown in 1965, where they raised their 3 boys. Ed worked as manager of the Queenstown/Milo seed cleaning plant until his retirement in 2004.
