Ernest Henry Rast – 18 December 1932 – 7 August 2012
Ernie passed away at Vulcan Extendicare in his 80th year.
Beloved husband of 11 yrs of Sandra Ann, father of Tim Rast (Lori White) of St. John’s, Nfld, step father to Kyle (Kathy) Rast of Lundbreck, AB, Heidi (Leland) Ferguson of Victoria, BC, three step grand-children Brady, Paige and Mary Rast, two sisters Freda Rast and Helen (Clifford) Anderson of Calgary, a brother Fred (Sylvie) Rast of Laporte, Saskatchewan, two sisters-in-law Katie Rast and Karen (TC) Robinson, four brothers-in-law Mike Dedeo, George Leach (Bonnie Helferty), Trevor Leach and Kirk Leach, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Gustav (Eva) Rast, his first wife Doris Rast in 1995, two brothers Erwin and Otto Rast, two sisters Edith Dedeo and Irma (William) Roth, a brother-in law Gary Schnell and a sister-in-law Janice Leach.
Celebration of Life service September 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Vulcan Evangelical Missionary Church (529 Centre Street) with Pastor Peter Campbell and Rev Gordon Cranch officiating.
Inurnment at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Saskatchewan at a later date.
