Huff, Sharon Lynn, of Lomond, beloved wife of Bryan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the South Health Campus, Calgary on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the age of 73 years.
Sharon was born to Yvonne Hill on December 3, 1944 in Calgary, AB. She lived with her Aunt Gertie Savage for part of her life and thought of her as a second mother. Sharon was known for her many talents and creativity when it came to cakes, sewing, painting, ceramics, woodwork and crafts. She loved branding, curling, dancing and to bake with her grandchildren and get them involved in taking care of all of her beautiful flowers. She loved her family dearly and would do anything for them. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Besides her husband of 48 years, Sharon is survived by children Shelly Enright (Mike), Raymond Beagle (Carol), Sharla Huff Retzler, Batrina “Tina” Huff, her grandchildren Shawn Johnson, Cody Cain, Kiara Jones, Bobbi-Jo Jones, Shenise Retzler, Ashlyn Retzler, Brynn Retzler and Paisley Retzler, her sisters Linda Appleby (Rob), Karen Mensinger (Wally) and Darlene Phillips (Robert), mother-in-law Phyllis Huff, sister-in-law Sherry Fernley (Ron), Lorraine Wolff (Henry), brothers-in-law Delmer Huff and Michael Huff (Terry), numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was predeceased by her mother Yvonne Hill, father-in-law Henry Huff, sister Shirley Mock, special Aunt Gertie Savage, niece Nadine Huff and sons George Jones and Byran Huff.
Celebration of her Life was held Friday March 9, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Vulcan Royal Canadian Legion Hall with Rev. Gordon Cranch officiating. Inurnment Lomond Cemetery at a later date.
