As a new school teacher from New Brunswick arriving in Arrowwood by train in August, 1964, Grace Williams & her husband Hurley were among the first to welcome me to their hometown!! They were both soo very friendly that I felt at home right away. When school started, one of their daughters, Gloria, was in my class, so I got to know the whole family fairly quickly!! After I married one of their nephews a couple of years later, I found Grace was one of the main organizers, along with my mother-in-law, of those huge, very successful, Williams family reunions they used to hold fairly often!! She kept very active throughout most of her life, even playing the piano after she turned 100, and enjoying life with her family, as far as I know, right till the end!! An extremely genuine lady, one of a kind, she will be missed greatly by all who were fortunate enough to know her well!!
