Georgina Ully of Milo, AB, passed away suddenly on January 5 2024, just days before her 71st birthday. She passed away at home with family.
Georgina was predeceased by her husband Ed Ully and her sister Pamela Bates Ostergard. She is survived by her sister Cynthia McNeil (husband Gord and daughter Georgia), as well as Jeff Ully.
Her early years were spent in B.C. but the majority of her life was spent in Alberta. Georgina was successful in her career in business but found joy in being with her husband Ed on the farm. Together they settled in Milo after the farming was done. Georgina enjoyed living in Milo and was active in things related to the village.
Georgina will be overwhelmingly missed. Anyone wishing to honour Georgina’s memory can do so with a random act of kindness.
The family of Georgina Ully would like to invite people who knew Georgina, to a complimentary Chinese buffet. Join us on Sunday February 11 at the Milo Cafe at noon.
Also, Georgina’s house and her shop on Railway Ave., Milo, will be open for anyone to go through. In Georgina’s memory people may take what they wish.
We will be accepting donations in lieu of payments and those donations will be given to the Lions Club, in Georgina’s name.
