Anna Bernice Stannard, beloved wife of the late Floyd Stannard, passed away at Lethbridge, Alberta September 16, 2007 at the age of 83 years.
Anna was born on July 22, 1924 at Enchant Alberta to Ada and Albert Batalden. She was their eldest daughter. Anna married Floyd Stannard on March 31, 1941 and they resided on the Stannard homestead just north of Travers until they moved to Coaldale in 1994. Anna moved to the Good Samaritan Lodge at Lethbridge in 2004 where she resided until her passing.
Anna is survived by her loving daughters Joyce (Darrell) Maronda and Marjorie (David) Armstrong all of Lomond, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Floyd, grandson Warren Maronda, two sisters and seven brothers and her parents.
Memorial Service was held Wednesday September 19, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lomond Bethany Lutheran Church with Rev. Ed Summers officiating.
