Andrews, Clayton Wayne “Curly” passed away January 17, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 74 years.
Beloved husband of Alice for 42 years, loving father of four children Bob (Penny), Debbie (Dave) Nidd, Lori (Doug) Richardson, Michelle (Steve) Chamberlain, five grandchildren Traci, Chad, Matthew, Leanne, Alexander and one great grandchild Chayton.
Celebration of Life Friday, January 22, 2010 at 2 pm at the Vulcan Legion Hall (240 Sinclair Road).

Hall, Joyce Elaine affectionately known as “Bonk” passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary January 17, 2010 after complications following surgery at the age of 70 years.
Elaine was the eldest daughter of Harold and Clara Bride, born at Vulcan on June 16, 1939. She attended school at Vulcan until the family moved to the Brant/Ensign area where she attended Brant school. After finishing school Elaine started working for the CIBC Bank. She married Richard “Dick” Hall of the Blackie district on March 16, 1957. They moved onto Elaine’s parents farm and farmed with her parents.

Phillips, Lloyd, beloved husband of the late Dorothy, passed away January 6, 2010 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 92 years.
Lloyd was born and raised on a farm east of Cayley, Alberta on January 1, 1918. The family moved to Valley, Washington in 1929 where Lloyd attended and graduated from High School . The family later returned to the farm at Cayley. Lloyd married Dorothy Ransom in 1948.
He was beloved by all his family and all made numerous visits to see him.

Marie Granlin was born August 11, 1919 at Champion, Alberta to Harold and Ada Matlock. She attended school in Champion and Normal School in Calgary. Wilma Flitton, devoted mother and wife, spunky grandmother and inspiring aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Community Health Centre Long Term Care on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the age of 93 years. She was born on December 12, 1916 in Archie Missouri to Mabel and William Ohler. Along with older siblings, Irene and Ivan, Wilma spent her childhood working on the family farm and going to the one-room Prairieville School. Stuart was born November 5, 1918 at Calgary, Alberta to William and Margaret Campbell. Stuart was raised on a farm in the Berrywater District and received all his schooling in Vulcan. He was involved in farming with his father and then entered the RCAF in 1942 as an Aero-Engine Mechanic Stuart was discharged in 1945. Schierman, John was called home to his Lord and Savior November 6, 2009 at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 93 years.
John was born February 20, 1916 at Calgary, Alberta to John Sr and Mary Schierman. He attended Sandy Point School near Hilda, Alberta, Riverside Elementary in Calgary, Giffen School  near Queenstown, Langevin in Calgary  and SAIT.   He married Wilhelmina Rausch in Calgary in May 1942.  They farmed at Queenstown until 1947 when  they purchased the Charlie Hay farm  near Vulcan. John retired in 1975 and moved into Vulcan where he resided until his passing.

Ed was born September 16, 1923 in Birdsholm, AB to Henry and Leah Ully. The family moved to Picture Butte, AB when he was a boy, where he attended Bar Hill school.
