LOVE, Linda Jane 1955 – 2025

Linda Jane Love passed away suddenly May 7,2025.
Linda was born November 23,1955 to Ivo and Gladys Love. She grew up in the family farm spending most of her time outside playing with her dog and the farm animals. She became very independent after losing her mother when she was only 7 years old. When she was older she helped her dad with the farming, usually driving the grain truck.
In high school she got a part time job at a grocery store in town which would become her lifelong career.
In 1990 she went to work for Scott Mitchell at First Street Foods which later became Market Street Vulcan. Linda loved the grocery business and was considered a mentor to everyone she worked with.
Linda also loved spring and summer because that meant two things… gardening and camping. She bought a beautiful motorhome so that we could camp almost every weekend when we weren’t out in the flower beds puttering.
Linda also loved her other home away from home, Kapulanikai in Maui Hawaii.
Maui was her happy place, where she loved to just relax in the back yard.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Ivo and Gladys and her brother Allen.
She is survived by her niece Cathy, who lived on the family farm with her. Her niece Debby Dempster and great niece Pheonix Dempster(Eric) of Nanton. Nephew Carl(Deanna) of High River. Special friends Linda Bexte and Faith Hartung, Lisa, Steven and Thomas, Leigh and Amanda Hansen and Family and Corrine and Terry Moran, special friend Diane Krystalowich, all of Vulcan. Also her brother Ralph and sister Faye.

Arrangements in care of Vulcan Funeral Home.

I’m so sorry and shocked to hear of Linda’s passing. Such a sweetie and a great sense of humour.
We both left our hearts in Maui. I’m sure you’ll miss her greatly. She was such a pleasure to work with.
    Once again, my sincerest condolences.
