Hyslip, Amond Hazen, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Mary, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre February 16, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
Amond was born August 2,1929 in Vulcan to Hazen and Annie Hyslip. At the tender age of  6 his father passed away.  Amond started school under teachers Lucy Fair and Hazel Cameron, and received his education in the Vulcan area.
In 1951 he took over the farming operations and on February 4th, 1954, married the love of his life, Mary Lawson at Central United Church in Calgary.
Together they raised their four children teaching  them strong family

The family is saddened to announce that Len Cross of Champion, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary at the age of 63. He had been in poor health for some time but his death was unexpected by the family.

The family of Ronald Don Beagle announce his passing on Feb 6, 2014, following a short illness at Innisfail, Alberta where he has resided since 2006. He celebrated his 84th birthday at home.

Magdalena (Dale) Fisher of Vulcan, AB passed away suddenly on February 3, 2014 after living a full rich 77 years.  Her body may have been frail but she had an amazing spirit and beautiful smile. She always wanted to plant the seed of god in everyone and could lift your mood when you were down.

Friesen, Peter Daniel, of Vulcan, beloved husband of Elsie, passed away at the Vulcan Extendicare on January 23, 2014 at the age of 81 years.
Besides his loving wife Elsie, Peter is survived by his daughter Sharon (Bill) Peters of Calgary and his son Dale (Chrystal) Friesen of Strathmore, three brothers Jake (Colleen), Cornie (Sandy) and George (Betty) Friesen, two sisters Ann Jarvie and Mary Wiebe, sister-in-law Lillian Friesen and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Daniel and Anna Friesen, a brother John and a sister Kay Dahlberg.

Charles ‘Victor’ Earl passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on January 20, 2014.
Victor was born near Erskine, AB and was the first child of Joseph Valentine and Myrtle Victoria Earl. After Vic’s father passed away in 1918, Myrtle and the three children moved to the Mr. W.G.
