HOULTON-DANN, Anna ‘Laura’ 1921 – 2018
Houlton, Anna Laura, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Center on April 9, 2018, two weeks prior to her 97th birthday.
Laura was born in Vulcan in 1921 to Mary and Labon Eamor, being the youngest of four brothers and six sisters. She attended school in Vulcan and in 1943, she married Tom Houlton and lived in the Reid Hill district until moving into town in 1958.
Tom passed away in 1976. Laura later married Walter Dann in 1996, who passed away in 2006.
Laura was a Past President of the Women’s Institute, Lionettes, Vulcan Ladies Curling Club and Golf Club, UCW

Buller, Willie Bernard “Bill”, passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Jessie of 47 years, his daughter Danielle (Doug), granddaughters Arosha, Mya, Alaysha, Faith and great granddaughter Jaylene, son Wesley (Regina) and grandchildren, Kent (Cora), Trevor (Gerry), Samantha (Jarrett), and Danielle (Deege), special grandchildren Jocelyn (Lars), and Stewart, special nephew, Bob (Ruth) Larson of Beaverdale, BC, adopted grandson, Travis and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by brother-in- law, Duncan and Ruth Winnipeg and sister-in-law Elsie Winnipeg and sister, Delcie Anderson of Nanaimo, BC.

Campbell, Sherry Ann, of Vulcan, beloved wife of Joel, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Tom Baker Cancer Center in Calgary, AB on March 31, 2018 at the age of 63 years.
Besides her loving husband Joel, Sherry is survived by her mother Donna Lyons, her children – Richard Wild, Wayne Campbell, Colin Campbell and Ronald Campbell, and brothers Ron and Randy Sayers.
She was predeceased by her daughter Jeannine Unser, father Darrell Sayers and her sister Katherine.

Fortin, Joseph ‘Urbain”, of Arrowwood, beloved husband of Noreen, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on March 6, 2018 at the age of 74 years.

Huff, Sharon Lynn, of Lomond, beloved wife of Bryan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the South Health Campus, Calgary on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the age of 73 years.
Sharon was born to Yvonne Hill on December 3, 1944 in Calgary, AB. She lived with her Aunt Gertie Savage for part of her life and thought of her as a second mother. Sharon was known for her many talents and creativity when it came to cakes, sewing, painting, ceramics, woodwork and crafts. Myers, Dorothy Jean, formerly of Vulcan, passed away in Claresholm on February 19, 2018 at the age of 101 years.
Dorothy was born in Naseby, SK, one of five children born to Harry and Jean Levers. At the age of 16, Dorothy moved to Calgary to take a position as a maid. It was while she was in Calgary that she took a hair dressing course. In 1938, she moved to Vulcan and worked in the hair salon in the Vulcan Hotel. Randle, Terry Jean, of High River, formerly of Arrowwood, passed away at home on February 13, 2018 at the age of 54 years.
Terry was born in Vulcan, AB, youngest child of Bill and Carol Steiner. She attended school in Arrowwood and Vulcan. Terry was a long-time member of the Arrowwood 4H Beef and Food Clubs, as well as Brownies, and Junior Choir.
Terry journeyed to Edmonton to obtain her Teachers Degree, later substituting in Okotoks.

GOLDHAWK, Shirley June 1945 – 2018
Goldhawk, Shirley June, of Vulcan, beloved wife of Gordon, peacefully passed away at the Vulcan Extendicare on February 10, 2018 at the age of 72 years.
Shirley was born on June 20, 1945 in Vulcan, to George and Louise Sandberg. She took grades one to three and ten at Nanton, then graduated in Vulcan in 1965. On August 21, 1965, Shirley married Gord Goldhawk and raised two sons together. They enjoyed keeping busy with their boys’ activities as well as their community.
Shirley worked at the Vulcan Advocate for over fourteen years. She also enjoyed school sports, ladies softball and curling over

Henry, June Carolyn, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on January 30, 2018 at the age of 85 years. June was born in Lampman, SK on June 14, 1932.
June is survived by her five children – Fay (Amie) Nadon of Vulcan, AB, Kevin (Linda) Henry of Drayton Valley, AB, Duane (Mary-Ann) Henry of Calgary, AB, Lonnie (Verla) Henry of Wainwright, AB, Dean Henry of Edmonton, AB, fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
June was predeceased by her parents Albert and Annie Klatt, her husband Ronald Henry and a grandchild Jaime Nadon.
