It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of John Robert (JR) Bulechowsky of Carmangay, Alberta at the age of 37 years on Friday, February 15, 2019 in Lethbridge, Alberta.

John Robert (JR) was born on December 25, 1981 in Drumheller, Alberta. He lived in Rumsey with his family and at the age of five moved to Rivercourse for a year, and then at the age of seven moved to Nanton. In 1989 his family relocated to Carmangay where he attended Carmangay School till grade six. He then attended Champion School for grades seven through nine. JR completed

Virginia Poffenroth of Blackie, Alberta, suddenly passed to her Heavenly home January 29, 2019 at the age of 84 after battling cancer for 7 months.

Besides her loving husband David, Virgina is survived by four children: Joan, Mark, Lyle, Earl, and also two grandchildren Logan and Samuel. Virginia was predeceased by her parents Emmanuel and Katherine Schnell, her sister Leah Rosenkranz, and her brother David Schnell.

Marjorie (Marj) McLennan passed away peacefully at the age of 90 with her family by her side at Vulcan Extendicare.

Marj was the third of nine children, born on a farm next to the Belly River, south-east of Fort Macleod, to James and Mary McNab. Marj was raised on the family farm and had many stories of going to the country school, tending gardens, riding horses, hauling water from the river and cooking with her mother. Mom passed away peacefully Dec. 21, 2018 at the age of 89 years.

Ethel was born July 15, 1929 to Bill and Florence Clements, the seventh of eight children. She grew up east of Milo, attending Corbie Hill School until it closed, then continued at Milo School. In 1948 she married Alvin George “Hap” Heather.

Ethel was famous for her angel food cakes, with family members receiving them on birthday and special occasions. She also loved gardening, and playing with her grandchildren.
