Cutforth, Ada May passed away June 18, 2010 at Vulcan at the age of 91 years.
Ada was born on April 3, 1919 at Carmangay, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Akitt. She was one of eight children. Ada grew up east of Carmangay where she developed her love of the outdoors and sports. She married Alfred Vaage in 1939 and raised seven children east of Champion on Snake Valley Farm. Alfred passed away in 1978. Bill passed away peacefully at the Vulcan Hospital at the spry age of 85 years of age. Bill was born in High River on April 11, 1925. Bill worked with his siblings on the family dairy farm just outside of High River until 1950, started with Farm Electric in 1950, married the love of his life Jean on April 11, 1953 (beginning their life-long venture together), joined Calgary Power (Transalta) in 1955, living in a trailer for a few years, Gleichen until 1981 then Vulcan where he finished his career retiring in 1984.

Dee was born August 20, 1946 at Edmonton, Alberta and, shortly after, was adopted by Cecil and Beulah Dennison of Vulcan County.
