The family requests that in lieu of flowers, people can feel free to make a donation in Bill’s name to any of the following very deserving organizations: Vulcan Hospital, Lethbridge Hospital and Renal Care Unit, Kidney Foundation, Cancer Foundation, Red Cross, Vulcan United Church Memorial Fund, Box 275, Vulcan T0L 2B0.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the spectacular healthcare staff that took such wonderful care of Bill at both the Vulcan and Lethbridge Hospitals. To the many family and friends who have touched our hearts with their kindness and generosity we extend our thanks and love.
Bill loved his family and his many wonderful friends and was a very strong member of his community. Bill was always busy working in his shop and gave freely his creations, his time and his many wonderful memories in story form. As stated by Mark Twain, “The best way to cheer yourself is to cheer somebody else up.” Bill touched so many people he must have been the most cheerful man in the world.

My condolences to the Henderson family on the passing of Bill. I know that your mother and father were good friends of the Warner’s (Howard and Vi) and had a good life and many good times in Gleichen, as did my parents.
