My condolences to the entire Simmons family. It is always hard to lose a family member. Harvey will truly be missed by family, friends as well as those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him through work. I am going to miss my (almost) nightly talks with Harvey and Nora. That has always been a highlight of being at work. I will forever treasure my memories of Harvey. My thoughts go out to all of you.

It was with sadness that I learned of the death of my cousin Harvey Simmons. Harvey was older that my brother and I and was greatly admired by the two of us. He and brother Lawrence were doing manly things that we could only imagine and we looked up to them in many ways. When Harvey married Nora we all thought he had struck gold. Evidence of their loving contribution to this world lies in the extended family and friends that now mourn his passing. I cannot be with you at the service but my prayers are that you find peace and comfort as you gather in honor of Harvey Simmons.
