Linda Diane Nelson, age 69, died peacefully on Sept 16, 2017, in Vulcan, AB.
Linda was born on November 18, 1948 in Port Arthur, Ontario, to parents Cecile Arita Cenerini and Roy Nelson.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Nisby of Edmonton, Jackie Van de Mosselaer (Randy Van de Mosselaer) of Winnipeg and their father Ed Nisby of Winnipeg; her grandchildren, Russell Staats, of Winnipeg, Nicole Staats of Winnipeg and Kalyn Van de Mosselaer (15) of Winnipeg and Kyler Van de Mosselaer (16) of Winnipeg, one great-grandson, Kalem Staats, and her brothers; Gerry O’Neill and wife Beverly, of Fort Frances, Nick Sims and wife Susan, of Calgary, and Barry Sims of Cambridge. She is preceded in death by her long time partner of many years Don Smith and her sister Charlene Sims.
At Linda’s request, there will not be a public memorial at this time.
