Sorry to hear the passing of Jerry. Our sympathy goes out to Jerry’s family. I have known Jerry from almost day one, as he lived with his folks on a farm that was adjacent to our farm southwest of Vulcan. As kids, we played together now and again and attended the Alston school together. I recall climbing up on some poplar trees next to their farm. When Jerry and his folks moved into Vulcan, he had several bantam chickens at his home. Jerry loved his animals being farm raised. Jerry has left me with lots of memories!

My sincere sympathy goes out to all of the Wylie family on the passing of Jerry. I remember him so very well, and always appreciated what a friendly and outgoing gentleman he was! His dedication to clubs, charities, and causes around Vulcan constantly impressed me … even into his old age he could be found selling tickets for one worthy local charity or another! I always enjoyed my visits with Jerry, especially our times together with Ruth and other family members at SAIT functions. He was a real nice man, and will surely be missed!

Our sincere condolences to the Wylie family at the passing of Jerry. Tom and Vivian, we know how close you were with him, especially since you all lived in the same yard. You and Jerry worked together and We are hesure there is a hole in your family now. We will always remember that he had a firm opinion on everything and that he worked faithfully at all Lions projects including the breakfasts and oyster suppers. Jerry’s presence will be missed by his family and the Vulcanites who knew him as the true Vulcan fixture he was. Jerry was a true
