WYATT, Dale Frank 1941 – 2024

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Dale Frank Wyatt on October 5, 2024 at the Vulcan Community Health Center at the age of 83 years.

Dale was born April 23, 1941 in Vulcan to Frank and Ruby Wyatt. He lived near the original homestead in the Buffalo Hills for most of his life, until moving to Vulcan about three years ago.

Dale attended school at Arrowwood until grade 11, then to Vulcan for grade 12. He attended Olds College after that and then married Jennie House in Arrowwood in 1962. They lived on the farm where they raise their family. Debbie was born in November 1963 and Wade in November 1964.

Dale played hockey and basketball and loved track sports. In later years, the family participated in sport target shooting, while camping with friends in Alberta and B.C.

Dale and Jennie enjoyed several trips to Rodeo finals with friends in Las Vegas and Edmonton. They also traveled with friends to Mexico and Hawaii on several occasions.

Besides his loving wife of 62 years, Dale is survived by his daughter Debbie and son Wade (Coralie), grandchildren Shelby (Simon), Tanner (Gillian), Corbin, BreAnn (David) and brother Merle (Neeltje). He was predeceased by and his parents Frank and Ruby and son-in-law Greg Low .

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 1pm at the Arrowwood Community Hall with Sue MacDonald D M officiating.
