Wren, John “Jack” Francis, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare on December 2, 2016 at the age of 92 years.
Jack was born on January 3, 1924 in Winnipeg, MB and grew up in Calgary. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy in WWII, based in Esquimalt, B. C.
His company, JFWREN Sales, dealt in Oilfield Supplies, and Tracked Vehicle Supplies. He loved animals, especially dogs, golfing, travel and music.
Jack is survived by his brother Gerald Wren. He is also survived by his daughters Jackie (Gordon) Patterson, and Marilyn Adams (Paul Taylor), and by his step-son Wayne (Robyn) Morris. He is also survived by his grandchildren Todd Adams, Holly (Yusef) Edmonds, Jodi (Carlo) Robledo, and Stephen (Lindsey) Morris. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Sydney and Riley Robledo and Grayson Morris.
Private family graveside service to be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Queen’s Park Cemetery, Calgary, AB.
