Alex Wesolowski of Vulcan, passed away at his home on July 16, 2013  at the age of 67 yrs.

Alex was an avid gardener and fisherman and enjoyed the simple things in life.

He will be remembered by longtime friends Christina ( Mike) Kimm of Calgary where they resided on the same street as Alex. He worked as a welder at the ship yards in Vancouver for many years until he was injured in an motor vehicle accident, following his recovery he moved to Calgary, were he met Christina and later her husband Mike, who also lived on the same street. He met Marjorie, she asked him if he could do a little work for her, he eventually was doing minor repairs and in 2006 she asked if he would moved to the Schneider farm to help out around the place. When Alex turned 65 years he proclaimed that he had retired, and stopped working but stayed on the farm, he continued to let a hand when needed.

A gathering will be held at a later date to share the life and times of Alex.
