WAY, Percy Garfield  1947 – 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Percy announces his passing January 5, 2020 in Vulcan, AB.

Percy Garfield Way was born April 27, 1947 in Windsor, Nfld to Earl and Jane Way. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go camping, fishing and hunting every chance he got.

Percy is survived by his children Justin (Terryl), Ryan (Rebecca), Jennifer, Edward (Tracy), his grandchildren Brianna, Jaxson, Easton and Colten and his great grandchildren Everly and Meadow. He is also survived by Dorothy Way and his siblings Myrtle (Leland), Allan (Marlene), Pearl (Dave), Jim, David (Diane) as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

As per Percy’s wishes, there will not be a service at this time.

Tributes in Percy’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Alberta/Northwest Territories, 200-325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5.

    I will never forget the times I got to go hunting with Grandpa Percy, my dad Justin and my Uncle Ryan. Those are the memories I will never forget. I wish you got you meet your great grandchildren Meadow and Everly.

    My sincere condolences to your Family. I was very sad to hear of the passing of Percy. I worked with Percy for a few years. I will always remember his kind joking personality. He was a very generous and hard working man. I will miss him. I wish I could have had more time with him. May God Rest your Soul my Friend…

    We live next door to Persy for over 20 years, and we are all very sad to hear of his passing. May you rest in peace, Percy. We will always miss your big smiles, compassionate nature, and a handyman attitude. We all miss you very much. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers

    My heart felt condolences go to Percy’s family. He will be greatly missed. He was an amazing man. I thought the world of him. All my thoughts and prayers go to you all.
