Hubert Louis Warren formerly of Champion, Alberta, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre October 17, 2008 at the age of 84 years.
Hubert was born March 10, 1924 to Lewis and Ella Belle Warren. He attended school in the Champion area and continued to farm in the area. On October 29, 1948 he married Edith Williams and together they raised a family in the Champion area.
Hubert was a gifted mechanic and loved farming. He supported the community as a Life Member of the Champion Lions Club. He and Edith loved to travel and spent many summers in the Shuswap where he taught many kids to water ski. They also enjoyed thirty winters in California and traveled through all Canadian Provinces and American States.
Beloved husband of Edith, loving father of three sons Terrill (Maureen), Howard (Leslie) and Roger (Michelle), eight grandchildren; Katie (Sheldon), Brent, Scott, Carrie, Cale, Rhett, Angie and Colleen, a sister Ruth (Dale), numerous nieces and nephews
Celebration of Life service was held October 22, 2008 at Champion Community Hall with Sue MacDonald D.M. officiating. Burial to followed at Champion Cemetery.
