WAGNER, Richard Eugene 1954 – 2019

We announce with heavy hearts that Richard Wagner (REW) passed away suddenly on November 20, 2019.

Richard will be sorely missed by his soulmate and best friend Gina Lute, his brothers John, Freeman (wife Madonna) sisters Debra (husband Donald pre-deceased) and Holly, stepdaughter Alysia (husband Donovan), two granddaughters, nieces and nephews, family and friends, his mother Catherine and step father Jack, and father Ray.

Richard and Gina were enjoying their lives together in the small community of Carmangay. Where you saw Gina’s shadow, you would see Richards shadow. Richard enjoyed helping the community with his giving spirit. He enjoyed all four seasons to the fullest. Whether it was reading a book, or comic book in the garden in the spring, and summer, or giving a helping hand with shoveling snow for neighbors, and friends in the winter.

Richard was an avid volunteer at the local library, friends of the library association, and a member of the Carmangay senior center. He was a animal lover and cared for any cat, or dog who needed him without any thought, or hesitation.

In lieu of flowers in Richard’s honor, please donate to the Lethbridge and District Humane Society, 2920 – 16 Ave N, Lethbridge, AB T1H 5E9.

Arrangements in care of Vulcan Funeral Home. Telephone 1-403-485-2633. E-mail condolences through www.vulcanfuneralhome.ca.
