Taken home too soon. An old soul in need of full peace & rest. Kenny embodied everything this life & world had to offer. Forming a strong faith in early childhood, he now rests safely in Jesus’ arms.
Kenny lived fast! Everything had to go fast, the pace he walked, when he would go dirt biking, the speed he drove… Way too fast. He was always pushing his limits, to be able to stare fear in its face and NOT blink. Growing up, Kenny excelled in sports, starting with soccer then moving into hockey. Finding the position as a goalie, most aligned with him. Approaching his teen years, music became more evidently his gift as he taught himself to play piano and then guitar. With a vast array of musical taste he was also an avid concert goer.
He loved his family & friends fiercely, just like his father, he would give you the shirt off his own back. Every mother on this planet loves their child(ren) immeasurably. I too, would pull down the moon, stars, & galaxies for him.
Now for all of eternity he will be hunting and fishing and speeding through the heavens with the others who have passed on before him, especially his dad, Trevor Ian Hackett, whom he loved deeply and was his best friend.
Also leaving many of us here to remember him and keep his memory alive with us. All his countless friends, as he was such a social butterfly. His family, firstly his sister Kayla, whom he now guards from above. Numerous grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Milo Community Hall, Milo Alberta, on May 3rd, at 1:00 PM. If planning to pay your respects and view please arrive ahead of 1:00 PM. A monetary gift in his name is appreciated to go towards addiction recovery and/or mental health awareness programs.
Arrangements in care of Vulcan Funeral Home.
