DON WAS BORN JUNE 15, 1925 IN GLEICHEN TO CLATE AND CANDACE WILLIAMS. HE ATTENDED SCHOOL AT ARROWWOOD AND SERVED TWO AND A HALF YEARS IN THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE FROM 1943 UNTIL 1946 AS A RATION CLERK CORPORAL. IN 1943 HE MET URSULA ROBINSON AND THEY WERE MARRIED NOVEMBER 4, 1946. TOGETHER THEY LIVED AT HIS FATHERS FARM IN THE WINTER MONTHS AND RESIDED ON THE McBRIDE FARM THE REST OF THE YEAR RENTING CROP

WARREN DALLAS ROBERTSON OF VULCAN PASSED AWAY SUDDENLY AS A RESULT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT AT VULCAN, ALBERTA, ON AUGUST 14, 2001, AT THE AGE OF 32 YEARS.
WARREN WAS BORN JULY 17, 1969 AT CALGARY, ALBERTA TO WES AND WARRENE ROBERTSON. HE ATTENDED SCHOOL AT ELDEN WYOMING, BALDUN, MANITOBA AND GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AT HIGH RIVER, ALBERTA.
IN 1991 HE MOVED TO NANTON WHERE HE WAS EMPLOYED IN THE ALBERTA OIL PATCH. HE THEN MOVED TO CALGARY WHERE HE MET MONA BUETTNER AND HER TWO CHILDREN AND THEY BEGAN THEIR LIVES TOGETHER. THEY MOVED TO VULCAN IN 1997 AND

PAT WAS BORN OCTOBER 29, 1927 IN VULCAN THE ELDEST OF FIVE CHILDREN TO GEORGE AND ROBINA HUTTON. SHE ATTENDED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AT SAND-PIT, TWIN-COULEE, BOYNE AND HIGH SCHOOL AT ALSTON. BEFORE COMPLETING SCHOOLING SHE BEGAN WORKING FOR MIDLAND PACIFIC GRAIN CO. IN CALGARY. IN 1944 SHE MARRIED TED OLDFIELD AND TOGETHER THEY HAD A DAUGHTER DOUANNE. WILSON “WILLIE” STEEPER OF VULCAN PASSED AWAY JULY 11, 2001 AT VULCAN EXTENDICARE AT THE AGE OF 89 YEARS.
WILLIE WAS BORN AUGUST 8, 1911 AT PARKHILL, ONTARIO THE OLDEST OF SIX CHILDREN TO ALEC AND EDITH STEEPER WILLIE ATTENDED SCHOOL IN THE NEARBY VILLAGE OF CORBUTT. HE HELPED HIS FATHER ON THE FARM OPERATING THE THRASHING OUTFIT, SO HIS ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL WAS ALTERED DURING HARVEST AND EARLY SPRING. IN THE FALL OF 1948 HE MOVED TO NORTHERN ONTARIO AND WORKED IN A LUMBER CAMP UNTIL MOVING TO ALBERTA IN THE SPRING OF 1949 WHEN HE MOVED TO HIS SISTERS

IN 1939 ART MOVED TO VULCAN WHERE HE BEGAN WORKING AS A MECHANIC AT BILL BROWN’S GARAGE AND IN OCTOBER THE SAME YEAR MARRIED MARY McCLIMENT. HE JOINED THE NAVY IN 1943 AND SERVED IN HALIFAX. WAYNE ARDELL RUGGLES OF LOMOND, PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY JULY 1, 2001 AT VULCAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE AT THE AGE OF 85 YEARS.
WAYNE WAS BORN JULY 16, 1915 AT OSAIS, MINNESOTA TO JOHN AND VIOLET RUGGLES. HE CAME TO ALBERTA WITH HIS FAMILY IN THE SPRING OF 1917 FROM OSAKIS, MINNESOTA. HE LIVED ON SECTION 35 SO THEY WERE KNOWN AS THE 35 KIDS. WAYNE’S FAMILY MOVED SEVERAL TIMES, BUT ALWAYS CAME BACK TO THE LOMOND DISTRICT. A COUPLE OF THE PLACES THEY LIVED WERE YAHK AND KINGSGATE B.C. WHERE HE WAS EMPLOYED TAKING OUT PROPS FOR THE C.P.R.

HEIDE, JACOB “JAKE” FORMERLY OF ENSIGN, ALBERTA WAS CALLED HOME TO HIS LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST JUNE 17, 2001 AT THE AGE OF 87 YEARS.
JAKE WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 25, 1913 AT OSLER, SASKATCHEWAN TO CORNELIUS AND KATHERINE HEIDE. HE ATTENDED WARMAN SCHOOL AND WORKED ON SEVERAL FARMS IN THE AREA. AT THE AGE OF NINETEEN HE ATTENDED BIBLE SCHOOL AT DALMENY, SASKATCHEWAN, THEN MOVED TO ROSEMARY AND IN 1937 MOVED TO THREE HILLS FOR BIBLE SCHOOL. IN 1940 HE MOVED TO VULCAN AND BEGAN WORKING FOR DICK WILLIAMS WHERE HE MET DOROTHY DUGUID AND THEY WERE MARRIED IN

ORVILLE MUCKLE “PAT” ROE, OF VULCAN PASSED AWAY AT THE VULCAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE JUNE 13, 2001 AT THE AGE OF 82 YEARS.
PAT WAS BORN JUNE 5, 1919 IN VULCAN TO ORVILLE AND VIOLA ROE. HE ATTENDED SCHOOL IN VULCAN AND WAS GIVEN THE NICKNAME “PAT” EARLY IN HIS SCHOOL YEARS. HE HELPED HIS FATHER ON THE FARM AND AFTER COMPLETING HIS EDUCATION BEGAN WORKING FOR CALGARY POWER. PAT JOINED THE NAVY IN 1942 AS A STOKER AND LATER SERVED AS AN ELECTRICAL OFFICER. ORVEL LAWRENCE WEBB, OF VULCAN PASSED AWAY AT THE VULCAN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE JUNE 1, 2001 AT THE AGE OF 86 YEARS.
ORVEL WAS BORN THE ELDEST OF EIGHT CHILDREN, FEBRUARY 15, 1915 IN LANGDON, ALBERTA TO ORVEL AND HILDA WEBB. HE ATTENDED LANGDON SCHOOL AND LATER HELPED HIS FATHER ON THE FARM. HE BEGAN WORKING IN CALGARY FOR MODEL DAIRIES AS A MILKMAN WHERE HE MET MAY ORCUTT WHO WAS WORKING IN THE OFFICE.
