DON WAS BORN OCTOBER 4, 1930 AT OXBOW, SASKATCHEWAN TO ALEC AND JANET POVEY. HE ATTENDED THE COUNTRY SCHOOL OF DALESBORROW TILL GRADE NINE. AT THE AGE OF EIGHT, HE DID MAINTENANCE WORK AT THE SCHOOL. HE TOOK HIS GRADE TEN BY CORRESPONDENCE AND WHEN THE WAR STARTED HE QUIT SCHOOL TO HELP OUT ON THE FARM . DON CONTINUED TO BREAK HORSES AND WAS THE ONLY COWBOY IN THE DISTRICT. HARRIS WAS BORN FEBRUARY 20, 1920 AT THE ROBERT E. MATLOCK FARM EAST OF CHAMPION TO CECIL AND EMMA MATLOCK. HE RECEIVED HIS SCHOOLING AT ENSIGN AND VULCAN HIGH SCHOOL. IN 1939, DUE TO HIS FATHER’S AILING HEALTH HE TOOK OVER THE FARMING OPERATION, UNTIL 1941WHEN HE JOINED THE ROYAL CANADIAN ARMED FORCES AND WAS EMPLOYED AS AN AERO MECHANIC. DALE WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 1, 1948 AT PORT ROWAN, ONTARIO TO CHRISTOPHER AND JOYCE BROWN. HE ATTENDED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN VITTORIA, ONTARIO AND RECEIVED HIS SECONDARY EDUCATION AT PORT DOVER, ONTARIO. BOB WAS BORN JUNE 11, 1929 AT VULCAN, THE ELDEST SON OF GEORGE AND ROBINA HUTTON. HE ATTENDED BOYNE AND ALSTON SCHOOL AND IN 1946 ATTENDED THE SOUTHERN ALBERTA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN CALGARY. JIM WAS BORN NOVEMBER 25, 1938 IN CALGARY , THE SECOND SON TO CON AND LIL PETERSON. HE RECEIVED ALL HIS SCHOOLING IN MILO. AFTER COMPLETING HIS EDUCATION HE WORKED FOR HIS FATHER ON THE FAMILY FARM. ON OCTOBER 21, 1967 HE MARRIED BERENDINA “DENE” MARKS AND TOGETHER THEY BEGAN THEIR LIVES TOGETHER. THE FIRST EIGHTEEN MONTHS OF THEIR MARRIAGE THEY LIVED ON THE RALPH HALL FARM. IN APRIL OF 1968 THEY PURCHASED A HOUSE IN MILO
