Arnold Norman “Norm”Reynolds, of Milo, Alberta passed away May 12, 2002 at the High River Hospital at the age of 70 years.
Norm was born July 10, 1931 at Old Ridge, New Brunswick to Harry and Jessie Reynolds. He attended the Blackland School until grade eight. Following his education he worked in the woods near his home, cutting pulp wood, Christmas trees and logging using horses. Hartley Brown McDonald, life long resident of Champion, Alberta was called home to his Lord and Saviour May 7, 2002 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 71 years.
Hartley was born June 16, 1930 at Vulcan, Alberta to Brown and Louise McDonald who homesteaded west of Champion and South of Vulcan. Hartley attended Hiawatha, Alston and Champion Schools, as well as Olds Collage and Calgary Technical School (S.A.I.T.). John Allen “Bud” Johnson of Vulcan passed away April 21, 2002 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 75 years.

Vivian was born January 8, 1911 at Carmangay, the youngest of five children born to Henry and Emma Frank. She was raised on her parents homestead and attended Blackspring Ridge School. While growing up, Vivian learned her homemaking skills at her mothers side. In 1931 she married Lynn Milliken and together they began their lives together at Carmangay. Vincent, Evelyn formerly of Carmangay, Alberta passed away April 6, 2002 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 96 years.
Evelyn was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba November 11, 1905 to Fredrick and Claribel Fox. In 1907 they moved to Isles of Pines in the West Indies, moving to the homestead near Kelliher, Saskatchewan in 1909. Fay was born on March 2, 1920 to Charles and Margaret Steiner. She received her early education at Cottonwood Grove School and then went to Western Canada High School in Calgary, staying with her grandmother. Vivian Ada Booth, longtime resident of the Vulcan area passed away April 2, 2002 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 86 Years.
Vivian was born December 4,1915 at Reid Hill, Alberta east of Vulcan the second daughter of John Edward “Ted” and Selma Campbell nee: Balstad. She attended Sunny Glen School. On October 20, 1932 Vivian married Forrest Leonard “Bud” Booth and they started their life together on the farm on Snake Creek. They lived on the farm until the mid 1970’s when they moved to Vulcan.
