Muriel was born July 27, 1927 at Nelson, BC to William (Bill) and Hazel Goulding. Most of her childhood years were spent at Rosedale, Alberta where her father was the CPR Station agent. Hilda Jene “Jean” Sealock of Vulcan passed away Thursday October 7, 2004 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 79 years.
Jean was born at Ashcroft, B.C. December 27, 1924 to Joseph Smith and Violet Ella (Lyne) Place. She grew up on a ranch and received her education at Dog Creek, B.C. Jean married Charles Harrison Sealock, an airman in the Airman’s canteen at the 11th staging unit of the R.C.A.F., at Dog Creek on March 17,1944. Rose Stein of Vulcan, Alberta passed away peacefully at Vulcan Community Health Centre on September 23, 2004 at the age of 92 years.
Rose was born January 11, 1912 on a farm near Bickleton, Washington and came with her family in 1913 to Champion, Alberta. They moved to the Mossleigh area in 1917 where her father farmed for many years.

Gretta Hilda Loose of Vulcan, Alberta passed away after a lengthy illness on September 14, 2004 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 64 years.
Gretta was born on February 5, 1940 at Vulcan, Alberta to Martin and Annie Jose. She was raised on the family farm north of town and attended school in Vulcan. Elizabeth Emma Anna Lee of Vulcan, Alberta passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 95 years.
Elizabeth was born December 7, 1908 at Edam, Saskatchewan to Abraham and Ida Wouters. She was the oldest of six children. Elizabeth left school at the end of Grade 10 to help on the farm. Rosa Lever passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at Lethbridge at the age of 82 years after a brief illness.
Rosa was born in Vigo Cavedine, Trento, Italy on June 1, 1922 to Virginio and Carlotta Cristofolini. She was married to Angelo Lever in 1942. Seeking a better future for their family, Angelo emigrated to Canada in 1952 and in 1953 Rosa and their three children joined him in the Champion area. Following the death of her husband in 1983, Rosa relocated to Lethbridge.

Linda Diane Whiteside of Vulcan passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on July 10, 2004 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 62 years.
Linda was born January 30, 1942 at Vulcan to Bruce and Gwen McKay. She attended Reid Hill school through grade eight and finished senior high in Vulcan. Linda then attended the University of Alberta and the Calgary General Hospital School of Nursing. She returned to Vulcan following her marriage to Cody Alexander Whiteside in the fall of 1961. Elsie Florence Thompson, 82, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare August 3, 2003.
Elsie was born on February 21, 1921 at home at Badger Lake Alberta. She was the fourth child of Albert and Ellen Thompson. She attended Badger Lake School, finishing high school in Lomond. She graduated as a teacher from Normal School in Calgary in 1940. The first school she taught at was near her home at First Chance. She then went on to discover different schools throughout the province. In 1965 she moved to Vulcan to care for her father and took part
