It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Salina Fey Myers on July 19, 2005.
Born October 20, 1917, she grew up and resided on the family farm twenty miles east of Vulcan. Predeceased by her parents and one brother Vernon (1990) she is survived by her brother Richard, three nieces and five nephews.
Ruth had a quest for knowledge that remained with her throughout her life. She attended public school at Prospect Slope then onto Calgary and Edmonton where she graduated from high school. In 1936 she moved back to Calgary and received her diploma in Cosmetology
WILLIAMS, Dayton 1921 – 2005
Dayton Williams of Vulcan passed away Monday, July 18, 2005 at Peter Dawson Lodge at the age of 84 years.
Dayton was born June 23, 1921 in Gleichen, Alberta to Clate and Candace Williams. He attended school at Arrowwood where he was active in sports including baseball, hockey and football. Dayton worked for Forest House until he joined the service in 1942. He was stationed in Vancouver, Victoria and Prince Rupert. In May of 1944 Dayton married Darlene Salter. ROMANIUK, Margaret 1930 – 2005
Romaniuk, Margaret formerly of Calgary passed away in her sleep at Carmangay, Alberta on July 11, 2005 at the age of 74 years.
Margaret was born on August 31, 1930 in Coaldale, Alberta to Jaken and Anne Neufeld.
Margaret is lovingly remembered by her son Randy, granddaughters Tamara (Terry), Nicky (Corey), Trisha (Craig), six great grandchildren Kaitlan, Nolan, Kyle, Brooklynn, Rylee-Jean, Brayden, her granddaughters’ mother Jean, three brothers Ernie (Gerry), Jake (Mary), Pete (Kay), three sisters Anne (Bob), Sal, Vera (Jim) and numerous nieces and nephews.

KLEINSASSER, John P. 1918 – 2005
Kleinsasser, John P. of Wild Rose Colony, Vulcan, Alberta passed away June 19, 2005 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 87 years.
John was born at South Dakota on March 15, 1918. He moved from the Old Elm Colony Magrath to the Wild Rose Colony Vulcan in June 1990.
Loving father of three daughters Lydia, Sara, Christina, eight sons Elias, Daniel, William, Isacc, Joseph, Gidion, Ronnie and Michael, three sisters Susie, Sara and Elizabeth.

HENRY, Alvin “Al” Stewart 1934 – 2005
Alvin “Al” Stewart Henry passed away Saturday, June 18, 2005 at his home in Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 71 years.
Al was born March 25, 1934 at Calgary, Alberta to Chester and Emma Henry. Al enlisted with the Royal Canadian Army and served two years in Europe with the 27th Brigade as a Field Ambulance driver after he returned he attended classes at N.A.I.T to become a Respiratory Technician and worked at the Calgary Foothills Hospital respiratory surgery from 1971 until 1974, later in Edmonton until 1990 and to Thompson, Manitoba in1991. William “Bill” Brian McLean of Strathmore, Alberta passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 29, 2005 at the age of 45 years.
Bill was born June 12, 1959 at Erickson, Manitoba to Clayton and Ida McLean. He attended school at Elphinstone, MB and completed high school at Strathclaire, MB. Bill began working for Vernon McIntyre at a seed cleaning plant at Elphinstone following his education where he worked for several years. Janet Lorraine Morrison of Claresholm passed away May 21, 2005 at the Claresholm General Hospital after a short but very courageous battle with cancer at the age of 33 years.
Janet was born May 25, 1971 the daughter of Bill and Ethel Harcus of Rossland, B.C. She completed her grade schooling in Rossland and went on the Selkirk College in Castlegar, B.C. where she studied nursing and Industrial First Aide. Martin Joseph “Marty” Brennan passed away suddenly and peacefully at his home in Vulcan, Alberta on May 13, 2005 at the age of 32 years.
Marty was born at Freshwater Placentia Bay, Newfoundland on July 4, 1972 to Martin and Noreen Brennan and he grew up in the Freshwater area. Marty moved to Vulcan with his family in 2003.

Marie “Mary” Mathilde Hope – Rapp, of Vulcan passed away in the arms of her children on May 7, 2005 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 84 years.
Mary was born on October 11, 1920 at Tunis,Tunisia, North Africa to Louis and Thérèse Rosenlecker. Mary was noted for having pulled out of unstable Tunisia with a large family of eight. This included her first three children, Marie Catherine, John and Marie Claire Portail, their nanny Mrs. A. Grou, the grandmother Mrs. Rosenlecker, Mary’s brother-in-law Michel Portail and her husband-to-be Alain Hope-Rapp. She settled this
