Clara Theodora Cote,  beloved wife of the late Cecil Cote, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2007 at the Little Bow Continuing Care Centre, Carmangay, Alberta at the age of 95 years.
Clara was born on April 23, 1912 on the family farm at Queenstown, Alberta to Ole and Gunhild Nelson.   Clara married Cecil Cote in 1939 and moved to Carseland where she lived until moving to a Lodge in 2001.  Clara was the typical hardworking, modest, prairie-farm housewife and mother, always making the most out of both bad times and good times and always being the rock that kept the

Jay Albert Ryan Kolody passed away suddenly on May 9, 2007 at Lethbridge, Alberta at the age of 48 years.
Jay was born February 27, 1959 at Calgary, Alberta to George Ronald and Mildred Anna Kolody. He attended St. James Junior High School and graduated from St. Mary’s High School at Calgary.  Jay attended The University of Lethbridge and achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree, specializing in behavioral Psychology and Neuro-psychology, in 1984.  Prior to university, he competed extensively in speed skating, earning numerous awards and in 1974 proudly represented Alberta as a speed skater at the Alberta Winter Games.  While

STANLEY WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS WIFE MARGARET IN 1984, SISTER MIRIAM GOLDI AND HIS PARENTS.

Graff, Rudolph “Rudy” passed away May 2, 2007, at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 88 years.
Rudy was born at Estuary, Saskatchewan, on August 21, 1918, the second youngest of twelve children of Ludwig and Maria Graff. The family moved from their Estuary homestead to Westerham, Leader, and to Mendham where Rudy attended Spire School. He married Alvena Lebsack on December 27, 1941 in Calgary, Alberta. In 1942 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Army Corps and was stationed mainly on the Canadian West Coast. After discharge in 1946, he worked for one year with the Canada Land

Elizabeth Kyle “Bette” Martin passed peacefully away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on April 25, 2007 at the age of 80 years.
Bette was born on July 31, 1926 at Armada, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Grant. She moved from Armada in 1938 to Vulcan where she worked at the Vulcan Post Office.  Bette and her family endured the Depression beginning in 1930 but World War II had a significant impact on her life. She often recalled the telegrams that would come to the Post Office, telling families of the deaths of their loved ones overseas. Bette married Bob Martin

McInenly, Katharine“Kay”, formerly of Arrowwood, beloved wife of the late Percy McInenly, passed away on April 16, 2007 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 85 years.
Kay is survived by a daughter Jo (Brian) Boulton of Okotoks, a son Frank (Agnes) McInenly of Vulcan, four grandchildren J.C. Boulton, Cody Lee Boulton and her friend James Agnew, Stacey (Jon) Schooten, Holly (Fred) Kugler, two great grandchildren Tynell Schooten and Keilan Kugler, a brother John Ellis of Keremeos, BC, brother and sisters-in-law, Teresa McColman, Victor Earl and Gene McInenly , numerous nieces and nephews.

Muriel Eva Cutler, beloved wife of the late George “Bob” Cutler,  passed away on April 4, 2007 at her home at the age of 90  years.
Muriel was born July 15, 1916 at Barons, Alberta to Eva and Frank Cutforth.  She attended Garden Prairie School and attended high school in Barons.  The family moved to Victoria and Muriel studied for hairdressing and beauty parlor attendant after she completed high school.  She worked for The Bay in Victoria until moving back to Barons in the summer of 1943.  Muriel married Bob Cutler at Calgary in April 1944.  In 1946 they purchased farmland

Ellis, Shanna Jill, formerly of Vulcan,  Alberta  passed away at her home on March 28, 2007 at the age of 27 years.
Beloved daughter of Robert and Kay Ellis, loving sister of Corey, Shane (Sarah) and their children Brayden, Brooke and Kaitlyn, and Pamela, her grandparents James and Audrey Ellis, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service Monday, April 2, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Champion with Bishop Ted Findlay officiating.
Friends are invited to meet the family in the Relief Society Room from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m..
