Bernard Kenneth “Ken” Gay passed away March 17, 2008 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 70 years.
Ken is survived by one brother Milton (Mary) Gay, one niece and one nephew all of BC and numerous cousins. Ken will be sadly missed by all especially by his cousin Olive (Ron) Gorzitza of Barons.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at Vulcan Extendicare with Sue MacDonald D.M. officiating.

Helen Teresa McCallum passed away March 1, 2008 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 82 years.
Helen was born at Possilpark, Scotland September 11, 1925 to John and Helen Travers. She attended school at Glasgow until the age of fourteen when she began working as a seamstress for the Midland Railway making uniforms. Helen worked there until moving to Calgary to marry Wray Willis McCallum in December 1946. Together they raised their family on the family farm in the Queenstown area until retiring and moving to Vulcan in 1993. Helen moved into Extendicare in 2003 and has resided there since.

HOLM, Theodore “Ted” 1915 – 2008
Holm, Theodore “Ted” passed away peacefully on February 21, 2008 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 92 years.
Ted was born on June 13, 1915 at Champion, Alberta to Peter and Edna Holm. He received all his schooling at Champion and helped on the family farm. When he finished his schooling, Ted went to work for the municipality driving a grader. During the war years he operated heavy equipment at the Vulcan Airport and then at the airport at Fort St. John. Ted was also musical and played saxophone in a local band. Janina was predeceased by her husband Janis in 2005, her son Arvids “John” in 2007 and her parents.

Carolyn Louise Thompson, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and auntie, was called home to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on January 28, 2008 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 48 years following a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
