Rupp, Gloria Hazel, beloved wife of the late Alfred, passed away January 25, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 84 years.
Gloria was born October 21, 1925 in Medicine Hat, AB and moved with her family to Champion when she was four years old. She attended school in Champion and then worked there as a telephone operator. In 1948 Gloria married Alfred and they moved to the family farm where they raised their three boys Jim, Dale and Gord. Graham, Weldon Joseph passed away April 30, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 91 years.
Weldon was born July 5, 1918 at Prescott County, Vankleek Hill, Ontario to Fred and Annie Graham. The family moved to the Vulcan area in 1915. Weldon attended Vulcan schools and upon completion of his education, began farming with his father. He married Jean Margaret Christie in October, 1977. Weldon was a member of the Vulcan United Church. In his younger years he was an avid curler.

Broere, Neeltje “Nell” passed away peacefully on July 13, 2010 at the Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 87 years.
Nell was born January 13, 1923 at Capelle a/d Ijssel, Holland to Krijn and Aletta Verkaik. She received all her education in Holland and, in 1946, married Adriaan Broere. Their three oldest children were born in Holland and the family immigrated to Canada in 1952. Nell and Andy were blessed with a fourth child in Canada. Nell worked hard to make a good life for her children. She was an impeccable housekeeper and always kept active.

Beloved husband of Agnes, loving father of three daughters Brenda (Ernie) Lawson of Grand Prairie, Linda (Bob) Bell, Patricia (Larry) Bower-Krause both of Calgary, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister Gladys (Ken) Webster of Imperial, Saskatchewan and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Prayer Service Monday, November 22, 2010 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Champion, Alberta with Reverend Father Angelo D’Costa officiating.

Mary Catherine was born June 25, 1920 and raised at Vulcan, Alberta. She earned her B.Sc., M.D. and FACOG at the University of Alberta, Edmonton and practiced medicine at Pittsburgh, Pa. Mary Catherine married Jim Copley in 1969. In the early 70’s she and her husband served two years in the Peace Corps in Malawi, Africa and in the 80’s retired to Florida.
