SLETTO, CLAYTON LEON, PASSED AWAY AT THE VULCAN GENERAL HOSPITAL SEPTEMBER 6, 1992 AT THE AGE OF 74 YEARS.
CLAYTON WAS BORN AT MOSCOW, IDAHO ON AUGUST 19, 1918. HE CAME TO THE CHAMPION AREA WITH HIS PARENTS IN MARCH OF 1921, WHERE HE HAS FARMED UNTIL HIS PASSING.
CLAYTON WAS A CHARTER MEMBER OF THE CHAMPION LIONS CLUB AND AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, CHAMPION.
BELOVED FATHER OF TWO DAUGHTERS CAROL (GERALD) ZINCK OF WINNIPEG AND SHARON (PAT) LATTERY OF CALGARY, TWO SONS DAVID AND HIS WIFE CINDY OF CHAMPION AND BOB OF CLARESHOLM AND HIS WIFE MARION OF CHAMPION, ELEVEN GRANDCHILDREN AND A GREAT GRANDCHILD.
CLAYTON WAS PREDECEASED BY HIS WIFE BETTY IN 1981, A SISTER EVELYN ANDERSON, A BROTHER ROBERT, A GRANDDAUGHTER LAURA IN 1990 AND HIS PARENTS.
FUNERAL SERVICE WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 AT 2:00 P.M. AT CHAMPION UNITED CHURCH WITH FRANK JOHNSON OFFICIATING. INTERMENT CHAMPION CEMETERY FAMILY PLOT.
