Marjorie Maude (Brown) Schneider
May 4, 1926 – June 18, 2010
Marjorie Schneider passed away on Friday, June 18th, 2010 at Vulcan, Alberta. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Fred, sons Norman (Marie), Fred (Susan), Pat (Laurie), daughter Donna (Wayne) , grandchildren Jeff, Sherry, Cathy (Bryce), Karen, Wesley, Gavin, Jason, Kelly, Sharla and Logan; five great grandchildren Brad, Devon, Hunter, Marshal and Simone; two sisters Doreen and Marian; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Wendy, her parents Norman and Helene and a brother Judson.
Born on May 4, 1926 and raised in Edmonton, Marjorie lived in the Vulcan area for over 50 years. She could be described as a vibrant, imaginative and energetic woman with extensive interests. Always full of new and original ideas, she loved challenges and achieving goals. Marjorie was always busy and never bored. Along with being a very private lady, she was also a girlie type tomboy with a love for pink ribbons, curls, her home, poems, books, birds, animals, Gaither gospel music, children and the elderly. Marjorie valued hard work, initiative and independence. Being very bright, she was always extremely well read. Marjorie was quite content entertaining herself and was well known as a collector of collections. Marjorie Schneider was one in a trillion and will be greatly missed.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 24 at 1:30 pm at Vulcan Evangelical Missionary Church with a private interment in Edmonton.
