ROSS, Neil ‘Bullet’ Kenneth    1949 – 2024

Neil Kenneth Ross “Bullet” recently of Champion, AB, native of Lake Louise AB, beloved husband of Rose, passed away at South Health Campus Calgary on October 13, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

Neil was born October 28, 1949 at Cranbrook BC, son of Kenneth and Barbara Ross. He was raised in Golden, BC and educated in Nanaimo, BC where he spent 20 of his adult years as a hair dresser and cofounded the Nanaimo Hair Dressing Association before returning to Golden, BC to raise his family and join Parks Canada.

Besides his wife Rose, Neil is survived by his mother Barbara Ross, his son Kaalum Ross, daughter, Brooke Cherfils, brother Gordon Ross and three sisters, Barbara Empson, Carol Fleming and Deborah Arcuri as well as their families numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Kenneth Ross and niece Christina Lindquist.

A Family Celebration of Life will be held in Lake Louise AB, at the Lake Louise Inn (210 Village Road, Lake Louise AB), on November 1, 2024 at 3:30pm.

    Very nice Memorial. Neil was a very hard worker and one of a kind.

    Bullet was truly an original and an unsung hero around Parks Canada. The only thing he ever asked me for were SS clip anchors that would make it easier to maintain the vault toilets in the Park. How could we ever replace someone like that? Blessings and condolences to his family.
