Brotherwood, Eveline Audrey passed away May 14, 2010 at Carmangay, Alberta at the age of 84 years.
Eveline was born December 28, 1925 at Calgary, Alberta to Margaret and Raymond Peterson. She attended school at Milo and Okotoks. Eveline took her nursing training at the Holy Cross Hospital in Calgary and achieved the highest standing in theory in her class. She married Orville Speer in 1948 and they had four children. Beloved wife of Leonard of Brant, loving mother of daughter Deborah (Bruce) Smith of Calgary, daughter-in-law Mary (Howard) Paulson of Stavely, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eileen was predeceased by her son Douglas in 1998, three brothers Henry, Gordon and Donald, sister Grace and her parents.

Graham, Weldon Joseph passed away April 30, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 91 years.
Weldon was born July 5, 1918 at Prescott County, Vankleek Hill, Ontario to Fred and Annie Graham. The family moved to the Vulcan area in 1915. Weldon attended Vulcan schools and upon completion of his education, began farming with his father. He married Jean Margaret Christie in October, 1977. Weldon was a member of the Vulcan United Church. In his younger years he was an avid curler.

Gwen was born at Chinook, Alberta to William and Nellie Short. Gwen met and married Bruce McKay. Together they farmed and raised their three children in the Reid Hill District and later moved into Vulcan. Following Bruce’s passing in 1970, Gwen moved to Calgary. She met and married Ed Coskey in 1974. After Ed’s passing in 2005, Gwen moved back to Vulcan into the Wheat Country apartments, then the Peter Dawson Lodge and finally Vulcan Extendicare.
Over the years Gwen enjoyed curling, golfing, bowling, painting and later doing many handy crafts with her grandchildren.

Clara was born July 5, 1912 at Queenstown, Alberta to Margaret and Aleck Johnson. Nelson, She passed away March 31, 2010 at Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 97 years. Clara took all her schooling at Queenstown and in 1930, married Nels Nelson, where they raised their five children. She loved to knit and crochet, many gifts her family now enjoy.
