Nobert, Faron James passed away February 10, 2011 following a life long illness at Vulcan, Alberta at the age of 43 years.
Faron was born July 24, 1967 at Westlock, Alberta, he attended school at Longview, Black Diamond and graduated High School at Vulcan. He was very athletic in his younger years and played baseball, hockey, soccer, swimming. Faron worked at many jobs including the Vulcan & County Golf course, were he also enjoyed playing golf and also worked at Extendicare in Vulcan. Tom Troy passed away on January 26th in his 81st year.
Predeceased by daughter Shannon Buckley and grandchild Michael Buckley.
Survived and lovingly remembered by daughters Angela, Colleen (Mancini); sons Robin, Trevon and Patrick.
Artist, philosopher, loving father and friend of many.

Arnold Clarence “Arnie” Robinson of Champion, Alberta passed away following a courageous battle with cancer January 18, 2011 at the age of 62 years.
Arnie was born April 9, 1948 at Medicine Hat, Alberta to Clarence and Alice Robinson. He attended school at Etzikom. He met and married Marjorie Nolan in September 1969. He returned to school and graduated as a heavy duty mechanic from Lethbridge Community Collage in 1988.
Arnie worked with Alberta Wheat Pool, CPRail, Alberta Transportation and Roads and his most recent job was with the County of Vulcan operating a road grader. Arnie had the ability to

Deman, Christiaan – June 17, 1926 to January 17, 2011.
After battling ill health for the past few months Chris passed away peacefully at the age of 84.
Chris is survived by his children: Marion (Ray), Robert (Leanne), Rene (Donna), Jeroem (Gloria) and Saskia (Mike), eight grandchildren and a brother and sister in Holland. He was pre-deceased by his wife Janny in 2006.
At Chris’ request no formal services will be held. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to a charity of their choice.

NADOBNY, Carol Elaine  1942-2011

Carol Elaine Nadobny was born on August 11, 1942 in Lethbridge, Alberta. She moved from Picture Butte to Vulcan with her family in 1945. Carol married Ken Nadobny on September 12, 1961 in Kemmer, Wyoming. They lived in Ottawa and then Renfrew, Ontario until 1964 when they returned to Vulcan.
Carol loved to work in the greenhouse Ken built for her and thoroughly enjoyed growing her tomatoes and cucumbers each year. She loved to read and also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She often had a table at the Vulcan Craft Fair where her doilies, dishcloths and Barbie clothes were very popular.

After retiring from Nortel, Vlad with his wife Vera moved in 2001 to Vulcan, to be in a smaller town which would be more quiet, than the big city of Calgary.
Vlad passed away on the 24th of December 2010, Christmas Eve. He left behind his loving wife Vera, son Michel of Calgary, daughter Mirjana of London, England, two grandsons, three granddaughters and six great grandchildren in Germany and Croatia.
In loving memory of my husband Vladimir a memorial will be held to Celebrate his Life on Saturday January 22, 2011 at the Vulcan Lodge Hall at 1:00 P.M.
