With great sorrow the families of Allen Mueller announce his passing after pancreatic cancer had taken him from us all too early, at the age of 64.
Allen was born the second child to Bernard and Rita in Vulcan, Alberta.  He is survived by his wife Brenda, his brothers Gerald, Keith and Kenneth.  His sons Laine, Bradley, Wesley and daughter Janell, as well his grandchildren Kaley, Mason, Rhys, Jasmine, Jorja, Dakota, Grayson, Linden and Alexandrea.
Allen spent his early years in the farming community with his brothers around the Champion and Vulcan area before

Lynda Diane Smith (nee Jones) of Red Deer, while surrounded by her loving family, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the age of 62 years. Lynda is survived by her daughter Carmell (Daniel) Johns; siblings David Jones, Elgin Keith Jones, Evelyn Jones, Brian Jones and Pamela Jones. Also to cherish Lynda’s memory are numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Lynda was predeceased by her parents Robert Lloyd and Doris May Jones. Culp, Anna Marie Elizabeth ( Marie ), of Okotoks (formerly of Arrowwood), beloved wife of Verlyn, passed away in Okotoks October 18, 2013 at the age of 84 years.

Richardson, Margaret Isabel, of Vulcan, passed away peacefully at Vulcan Community Health Centre on October 16, 2013 at the age of 93 years.
Beloved wife of the late Ed Richardson, loving mother of daughters Helen (Bill) Olinik of Regina and Lynne (Bill) Sharp of High River, eight grandchildren; Debra (Dennis) Meyer, Dawna Skagen, Dwayne (Andrea Henry) Sparks, Denise (Les) Paul, Jan Loree (Derrick) Hurl, Darren (Stacey) Sharp,  Brent (Cathy) Olinik, Garth (Sharon) Olinik, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hartung, Lillian passed away at Vulcan Extendicare October 14, 2013 at the age of 94 years.
Lillian was born October 21, 1918 near Burstall, Saskatchewan to John and Mary Schierman.   The family moved to Queenstown where she attended Griffen School  and took several subjects by correspondence. She worked in Calgary, Alberta from 1936 to1941.
Lillian married George Hartung on the Schierman family farm, east of Vulcan, where Terry and Linda Schierman reside, and after their marriage, they lived on a farm east of Champion before moving six and a half miles north of Vulcan.  In July 1973, they moved into Vulcan. George

Frederick Henry Selland passed away peacefully at Vulcan Extendicare on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the age of 84, three months after the passing of his beloved wife Peggy.
Fred was born November 10, 1928 in Champion, Alberta. He attended school in Champion and attended the University of Alberta obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree. He was an accomplished musician playing the piano and clarinet. He traveled in his younger days and it was on a ship to Europe that he met a British nurse who was returning to England from working in California and Toronto. They corresponded for some time

Alexander “Alex” Plytka of Vulcan, passed away September 16, 2013 at Vulcan Extendicare at the age of 82 years.
Alex was born in Bellevue, AB, to parents Peter and Rose Plytka. After spending his youth in the Crowsnest Pass, he later moved to the family farm in the Alston district at Vulcan, AB with his parents and brother Steve.
Alex enjoyed visiting with his many friends and neighbors, always greeting them with a joyous smile.
Alex is survived by his faithful brother Steve, sister Mary Mazur and twelve nieces and nephews and their families. Alex was pre-deceased by his parents, sisters Sophie Olson,
