Williams, Hurley, of Strathmore, formerly of Arrowwood, beloved husband of Grace, passed away at the Strathmore Hospital on December 2, 2014 at the age of 97 years.

Fulton, Evelyn “Darlene” of Vulcan, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the Vulcan Community Health Centre, on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the age of 74 years.

She was born in Vulcan, the first daughter of Basil (Budd) and Mildred Crick. She was raised on her grandparents’ farm east of Vulcan. She attended school at Reid Hill until it closed. Lebsack, Malita (formerly of Vulcan), was called home to her Lord and Saviour on November 21, 2014 at the age of 82 years. She passed away peacefully at Serenity Acres, Chase, B.C.
Malita was born to Gottleib and Olga Schattle in Woolchester, AB, near Medicine Hat. She attended a one room school, Antelope Cut School. She took high school courses by correspondence. Schumacher, Annetta Marie, formerly of Vulcan, passed away at St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge on November 19, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Annetta is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Annetta was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and a friend to many throughout her life.
Annetta was born at Vulcan Hospital on February 21, 1924 but lived in the Champion district. She attended Champion School in grade one, grades 2 to 8 at Hiawatha Country School and completed her education at Champion High School.

Marshall, Melbourne “Mel” Newton, of Lethbridge (formerly of Vulcan), beloved husband of Charlotte for 61 years, passed away at the Fairmont Park Extendicare in Lethbridge with his family at his side, on November 11, 2014 at the age of 88 years.
Mel was born and raised in Vulcan on February 2, 1926 to Bill and Chloe Marshall, along with siblings Norman and Ruth. Mel attended school at Union Jack, Lomond and Mossleigh Schools. He joined the Army when he was 18 and was ranked as a Royal Canadian Engineer. He was discharged at the age of 19.

Mel was in the agriculture business for over 30 years, as a parts person in Saskatchewan and Alberta with both Case , Case IH and Deer-Country. Tallent, Barbara Wilhelmina, of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre, surrounded by her family on November 9, 2014 at the age of 71 years.
Barb, as she was known to her friends, was born February 14, 1943 and raised in Coldstream, Middlesex County, Ontario with her four siblings.
Barb first came west in 1980. After several moves to various places, both east and west, Barb returned to Vulcan in 2006 and often said, “I love it here and this is where I am staying.” She had many very good friends here and enjoyed shopping and lunch days at least

Alan was born on October 6th, 1930 in Arrowwood, Alberta.
