Bach, Margaret Agnes “Peggy”, of Champion, passed away surrounded by family at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on May 28, 2018 at the age of 93 years.
Margaret “Peggy” Bach was born in Fuerty, Co. Roscommon, Ireland, February 8th, 1925, to James and Katy Murray. She grew up on the family farm and lived there until she went to London during the war as a nurse. She experienced the hardships of war, including a bomb landing in the building across the street.

Florence, the youngest daughter was born at Lomond on August 14, 1926. She taught at Circle Hill, near Enchant, AB. In 1947, she married Kenneth and while living on the farm they had two children, Dwain and Carol. He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife Donna of over 53 years; his two daughters Deanna (Rolf) and Marlyn (Gord); his four grandsons Ethan, Kyle, Jake and Sam; and his sister Annette (Norm) and family.

Howard Hagg, beloved husband of Lorraine, was taken home to be with his Lord on May 2, 2018 at the age of 95 years.
Howard was born on March 29, 1923 in Great Falls, Montana to Otto & Anna (Zahnd) Hagg. His parents had moved to Great Falls for the winter months looking for work then returning to Champion/Vulcan area to farm. Having grown up on the farm, Howard developed a love for animals and farming. WWII was in full swing when he turned 18, so he enlisted in the Aircrew with the R.C.A.F. in 1942. Beck, Valeen “Val” Alberta, of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on April 28, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
Val was born December 6, 1938 in Coe Hill, ON to Earl and Leatha (nee: Andrus) Warner. She was raised in the Oshawa area and in 1965 came west to Carievale, SK where she resided with her young family for about 5 years. After her divorce, Val came to Calgary in 1972 with her Uncle Glen Andrus.

Raymond was born in Vulcan on November 24, 1945, second son of Wilford and Edna Warren.  Raymond grew up on the family farm west of Champion.  He took his schooling in Champion and Vulcan and after graduation, he attended Olds College and SAIT.

Mitchell Dimitri Malmberg was born November 30th, 2008 to Steven and Jessica Malmberg. Mitch always has a presence about him. His personality could fill a room, his giggle and smile could brighten even the darkest days. He was the king of bad ideas but always managed to come out of any situation smelling like roses.
