A private Celebration of Life Service was held on Wednesday March 12, 2003 at the Vulcan Funeral Home.
Jenna was laid to rest in the family plot in the Champion Cemetery.

Shirley Arlene Walker of Vulcan, Alberta passed away suddenly at Dillon, Montana Monday, March 3, 2003 at the age of 75 years.
Shirley was born July 16, 1927 at Youngstown, Alberta to Edward and Nelly (nee Lammedee) Rushfeldt. She attended Heinsburg School and later went to Camrose Lutheran College where she also did some substitute teaching. Shirley graduated from the Royal Alexandra Hospital nursing program in 1949 and this beautiful young woman began her nursing career at the Vulcan Municipal Hospital in 1950. SCHIERMAN, Albert 1924 – 2003
Albert Schierman of Vulcan was called home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ February 25, 2003 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 78 years.
Albert was born in Calgary, Alberta August 15, 1924 to John and Mary (Dippel) Schierman. He grew up near Queenstown Alberta (1925-1937) where he attended Griffen school and near Vulcan (since 1937) where he attended Snake Creek school. He took over the family farm in 1950 and married Helen Rausch on November 1, 1952.

ROBERTSON, Harvey George “Swede” 1930 – 2003
Harvey George “Swede” Robertson, formerly of Vulcan and recently of Stavely, Alberta passed away suddenly at Calgary, Alberta February 23, 2003 at the age of 73 years.
Born in Champion, Alberta on January 13, 1930 to Bright and Sadie Robertson and raised in the Champion – Carmangay area, Swede was known for his athletic ability, especially in tennis, badminton and baseball. He also enjoyed bird hunting, cards and was an avid fisherman. It was during his youth he obtained the nickname of “Swede” which he is still known by today.

Reginald Hugh Bomford, passed away February 21, 2003 at the Little Bow Continuing Care Centre, Carmangay, Alberta at the age of 78 years.
Reg was born January 7, 1925 at Ashern, Manitoba to Trevor and Henrietta Bomford. He worked in farming, but he really enjoyed working with cattle and horses. In November of 1947 he married Noma Ferguson and together they resided in Manitoba until 1951. They moved to Calgary and Reg began working for the City Water Works Department. Mildred Eileen Crick, beloved wife of the late Budd Crick, formerly of Parkland and Nanton, Alberta, passed away at Vulcan Community Health Centre, Vulcan, Alberta, February 6, 2003, at the age of 80 years.
Mildred was born March 26, 1922 at Kirkcaldy, Alberta the second daughter of John and Mamie Olson. She attended school at Kirkcaldy and Vulcan. She married Budd Crick in August of 1940 and together they farmed east of Vulcan until taking a position on the Hawk Brother’s ranch near Parkland in 1961. They moved into Parkland in 1978 and Mildred began working for the Post Office until1987

Jean Joan Graham (nee: Connolly), passed away peacefully on Friday January 24, 2003 at the Vulcan Community Centre at the age of 72 years.
Jean was born July 6, 1930 in Chester, Washington to Howard and Pearl Connor. She moved with her family to Vauxhall, Alberta and received all of her schooling at Kinlock School in Vauxhall. Following her education she met and married Alfred Connolly on December 14, 1947 in Vauxhall. For a few years they resided in the Vauxhall and Enchant area, moving to Vulcan the fall of 1954. Franklin Hans Gordon (Pete) Olson, passed away Thursday January 23, 2003 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 72 years.
Pete was born October 12, 1930 in Claresholm to John and Christina Olson, the youngest of ten children. Following his education in Stavely he worked on the farm with his brother-in-law Art Sunquist for a few years. In the early 1950’s he moved to Champion to farm for his sister Ruth Ohlheiser and in 1958 he married Marjorie Kurtz at the Champion United Church. He continued to work for Ruth until 1962 when he moved to Warner, where

Charlotte Agnes Amelia West (nee: Clark), of Lomond passed away on Tuesday January 21, 2003 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre on her 87 birthday.
Charlotte was born on January 21, 1916 at Lomond, Alberta the eldest daughter of Harry and Hester Clark. At two years of age she moved with her family to Winnipeg, Manitoba where her father was employed by the Canadian Pacific Railway. As a child she took piano lessons and enjoyed playing the piano. She attended school in Winnipeg and obtained her high school diploma. From 1940 to 1944 she worked for the Eaton’s Department Store. On

Thora Elva Scott, of Lethbridge passed away Tuesday, January 21st, 2003 at Lethbridge Extendicare at the age of 83.
Born in Cardston on March 1, 1919 to Ray & Velma Wellman who homesteaded on Boundary Creek, southwest of Cardston.
