Plenny Harold Anderson, formerly of Champion, beloved husband of Betty, passed away at the Calgary South Campus on March 9, 2023 at the age of 87 years.
Plenny, the 4th child of Clarence and Lydia Anderson of Carmangay, was born March 11, 1935 . He, along with his 7 siblings, attended elementary school in Barhill and graduated from Carmangay School. After graduation, Plenny attended Olds Ag College in 1954.
Plenny married Betty Anderson of Champion, in July of 1957. They lived in Lethbridge, then moved to Carmangay then Champion. Plenny started his farming career in 1956. They moved to the home place

Laureen Auestad of Lethbridge (formerly of Milo), beloved wife of Ralph Auestad, passed away peacefully at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital on November 11, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Laureen was born December 8,1941 in Lac La Biche, AB, to Jacob and Pearl Hayduk and raised here along with her siblings Gail and Richard. She attended school in Lac La Biche, graduating from high school in 1958. She then worked for the Imperial Bank of Canada from 1958 to 1960 in Edmonton and then for the Bank of Montreal in Calgary from 1960 to 1967.

Lloyd Cass Graham, of Vulcan, passed away at the Vulcan Extendicare February 24, 2023 at the age of 100 years.
Lloyd was born July 11, 1922 in Vulcan to Leila and Clifford Graham. He farmed in Vulcan all his life. He began curling in high school and in 1948, he skipped an all Graham rink at the Foothills Bonspiel and won the Grand Aggregate.

Edith Mabel Warren (nee Williams) passed away at the Vulcan Community Health Center on January 29, 2023, at the age of 93. She lived a full life and was very independent, living in her own home along the golf course.
Edith’s family was most important to her. Edith married Hubert on October 29, 1948, settling on the farm west of Champion. David was born on February 23,1943, in Vulcan, AB, second child of Earl and Alberta Armstrong. He and his siblings were raised in Lomond, AB. David joined the R.C.A.F. and served for 5 years before returning to the Lomond area where he farmed for over 40 years. He retired from farming and relocated to Lethbridge in 2011.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary Dyck and older brother John.

Kathleen (Katy) Morris passed away peacefully in Calgary, AB on December 10, 2022 at the age of 71 years.
Katy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1951. She is predeceased by her father Ronald William Morris and her mother Violet (Crow) Morris. Katy is survived by her sisters-Val (Owen) Cullingham and Sheila (Shaun) Reddington and her nephews-Michael (Carol), Nicholas (Andrea) and Christopher (Melanie) and her great nephews and great niece.
