DELPHINE MARGURIETE PEARL MUNROE, PASSED AWAY AT VULCAN GENERAL HOSPITAL JULY 24, 1992 AT THE AGE OF 80 YEARS.

DELPHINE WAS BORN IN RIVERS, MANITOBA JANUARY 8, 1912 AND CAME WITH HER PARENTS TO GLEICHEN IN 1918. IN 1925 THEY MOVED TO ARROWWOOD WHERE SHE HAS RESIDED SINCE. SHE MARRIED GENE MUNROE IN 1945 AND OPERATED THE ARROWWOOD COFFEE SHOP FROM DECEMBER 1952 UNTIL SHE RETIRED IN 1969. DELPHINE WAS AN AVID FLOWER GROWER AND ENJOYED CROCHETING AND READING.

BELOVED SISTER OF MRS. O’DELL LLOYD OF ARROWWOOD, SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY NUMEROUS NIECES, NEPHEWS, GREAT NIECES AND NEPHEWS, A SPECIAL GREAT NIECE STACY KATISH, TWO SISTERS-IN-LAW IDA MAY BURNETT OF VULCAN AND MARION HENRY OF STRATHMORE.

SHE WAS PREDECEASED BY HER HUSBAND GENE MUNROE IN 1963, TWO BROTHERS LORNE AND SANDY HENRY, TWO SISTERS MARY HAROLD AND GRACE VOLB, AND HER PARENTS ALEX AND MARY HENRY.

FUNERAL SERVICE WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 1992 AT 1:30 P.M. AT ARROWWOOD UNITED CHURCH WITH REV. DWIGHT POWELL OFFICIATING. INTERMENT IN ARROWWOOD CEMETERY.

PALLBEARERS WERE ALAN INGRAHAM, RAYMOND SIRACKY, TED BURGER, LANE STEINER, BILL STEINER AND TONY NYMAN.
