MOON, Martin Riley, of Vulcan, formerly of Stavely, AB
Riley passed away peacefully January 18th , 2014 at the Vulcan Community Health Centre at the age of 95 years. Riley’s greatest joy in life was time spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving children Darwyn (Deborah) of Linden, Gordon (Mavis) of Nanton, Marilyn (Wayne) Sundquist of The Woodlands, TX, Brian (Roberta) of Mulhurst and Larry (Juli) Moon of Vulcan, 15 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, also leaves his brother-in-law Clifford (Diane) Berscht , brother Royden Moon, sisters Wynne Wollen and Helen McGaffin, sister-in-law Esther Moon and numerous nieces and nephews. Riley was predeceased by his parents William and Helena Moon and beloved wife Millie in May of 2013.
Celebration of Life Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Stavely Community Centre (501 – 50 St., Stavely, AB) with Fr. Tim Boyle officiating.
Inurnment will take place at a later date near Didsbury.
